Looks like Kyle Renton gave us a bit of a longer show this time at his 170lbs fight against Jonathon Coxe last weekend at The Paramount in Denver for PFC 8. After he finished his last fight in just 12 seconds we were lucky to get to witness Renton’s skills a bit longer this time…though it didn’t last past the first round again as he finished his opponent with a KO at 2:17.

Kyle Renton vs. Jonathan Coxe in a 170 lb. fight. The fighters had an exchange of fast, hard and technical strikes before Renton scored a takedown. When Renton tried for back control Coxe worked to standing and the fighters worked strikes from the clinch. After separating Renton dropped Coxe with a flurry and the follow-up GNP from Renton scored him the KO victory at 2:17 of round one.
“I wanted to give a big thanks to my team at Trials MMA. What a bunch of monsters to train with each day.” Renton on Facebook later: “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”
